Post a Job Opening

Alumni are our greatest resource for current job openings. Please send job announcements to lbickel@iupui.edu and include your contact information.

Send News and Updates

SPEA is always interested in hearing about the lives and careers of our alumni. If you have professional or personal stories you would like to share, please let us know. We are always looking to feature alumni in publications, on the Web site, and in other communications. Please send your updates to kifranci@iupui.edu.

Mentor a SPEA Student

Each spring semester, SPEA offers a one-credit mentoring class for undergraduate students called Mentoring for Professional Development. This class pairs students with alumni mentors based upon their career interests and experiences. The class meets a few Fridays throughout the semester and students are encouraged to maintain monthly communication with their mentors. If you are interested in serving as a mentor for a future class, please complete a mentor questionnaire.

Sponsor or Attend a SPEA Alumni Event

SPEA is constantly looking for ways to bring our alumni together. If you have an idea for an alumni event or if your company/organization would be willing to sponsor an event, please let us know. Events can be networking opportunities, community service, educational speakers, family-oriented, etc. We welcome your ideas and hope to see you at a future event!

Career Panels, Mock Interviews, Résumé Critiques

Each semester, faculty and staff look for alumni who are willing to participate in class lectures or share their career experiences through mock interviews and résumé critiques. If you would like to share how your SPEA education has impacted your career and provide feedback to current students, please contact us!

Become an Internship Sponsor

Internships provide students with experiential education, a positive way that your organization/company can influence the next generation of professionals. By providing meaningful, degree-related, full-time work assignments and coordinated supervision, you have a powerful impact, influencing future criminal justice, public, nonprofit, and environmental professionals.
