Criminal justice student Amanda Rice ensures campus safety as an IUPUI Police cadet officer.

Are you interested in why people commit crime? Do you want to help your community plan for disasters and other emergency situations? SPEA's criminal justice graduates can be found in a variety of occupations within law enforcement, corrections, private security, emergency services management, and the federal government.

Undergraduate students can choose from the criminal justice major or major in public safety management or a criminal justice minor.

Graduate students can pursue the nationally ranked criminal justice concentration within the Master of Public Affairs.
