Graduate Admissions Criteria
MPA Admissions Requirements
Minimum preferred requirements for admission include a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university with a grade point average of "B" (3.0) or higher and a combined score of 1000 or more (verbal and quantitative) on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or a total score of 500 on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). Students meeting these requirements are not guaranteed admission. Other admission factors include references, work experience, and the personal statement.
Although not required for admission, students applying for the MPA are strongly encouraged to complete MATH-M 110 or higher (algebra), ECON-E 201 (microeconomics), and SPEA-K 300 (statistics). Students applying for the MPA environmental management concentration should also have a working knowledge of chemistry equivalent to one semester of general inorganic chemistry and one semester of general organic chemistry.

MHA Admissions Requirements

Master of Health Administration (MHA) undergraduate prerequisite courses include accounting, microeconomics, and statistics. The admissions committee may grant provisional admission and allow completion of the prerequisite courses after admission to the program.

Graduate Certificate Application Requirements
Minimum requirements for admission include a baccalaureate degree at an accredited college or university with a 2.5 GPA or higher. Admission to the certificate program requires the approval of the graduate program director.
