Call for Papers
The Theories, Issues and Boundaries Section (TIBS) of the Association for Research on Nonprofits and Voluntary Action (ARNOVA) invites contributions to a Special Issue of the Journal Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly (NVSQ) entitled "Theories and Concepts for the Study of Nonprofits and Voluntary Action".
Papers submitted should be located in relation to current knowledge and scholarship. They will employ new empirical findings, or new critical reviews of the literature, to identify new theories and/or to develop, modify or challenge theories and concepts employed in earlier studies of the third sector, nonprofit organizations, associations and voluntary action. We hope to include papers from a range of disciplines, grounded in studies from many parts of the world, and employing a range of different theoretical approaches.
Please submit your manuscript via Manuscript Central, located at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/nvsq by March 31, 2008. *Please make sure to MAKE A NOTATION ON YOUR COVER LETTER that you are submitting your manuscript for this Special Issue!* Specific submission instructions can be found on the NVSQ website at http://www.spea.iupui.edu/nvsq/submissions.asp.
