Management Program
Are you a student who:
- is interested in working for a government agency, nonprofit organization, or private corporation,
- wants management and leadership training, and/or
- is looking for an alternative to a traditional business degree?
If you answered "yes" to any of the above statements, the management major is a good option for you.
The Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs degree will give you the foundation for a leadership role in a variety of fields within the nonprofit, public, and private sectors. You will be trained to manage staff and financial resources, to process and distribute information, and to utilize multiple and ever-changing technologies.
At IUPUI we will prepare you for a career in management by immersing and challenging you in courses in government finance and budgets, economics and strategic planning, project management, human resource management, leadership and ethics, organization of government, nonprofit and private organizations, and information technology management.
